I must say it was in a bit of a sorry state when it arrived at our workshop but it was clear that it had a lovely vintage style hiding underneath years of neglect. We restored the wooden frame and used our own unique hand mixed green chalk paint with hues of blue and ochre undertones on the distressed areas along with several applications of wax.

Combining the paint finish with the bumps and bruises that are inevitably part of its history this vintage charm became alive once again.

It makes for a really nice centrepiece. We just love a happy ending.
